Ok, you're probably saying to yourself, "whose lips are those and why are they pierced?!" Well, they're mine and I happen to like my lip ring! Besides, it makes me think of Claire Leonelli. 'Nuff said >D

Alrighty, first off I took this picture of myself using my ultra cool Sony digital camera, then played around with the image in PSP until I felt satisfied. I love the cool texture grid effect (for lack of a better word). I've seen this technique used on other sites and it took me a while to figure out that it's not a brush but actually a decrease in the color depth. Nifty, huh? Well, I manipulated the color depth and blended the image onto itself several times...throw in some text and you can see the ultimate fruit of my labor for yourself above XD You may have to enlarge the image to see the fine details...

The title's really cool too. Method to My Madness is such a perfect name for this version and totally relevant to a layout archive that contains all my original design work! I'm crazy too, what can I say? The links to my layouts are at the top and load the version menu in an iframe just below the second row of links. From there, you just select the version number and the layout loads in another iframe just below that.

This layout is special in the sense that it's the first time I made a layout using pictures I created myself. Mostly, I get my graphics from other websites and then work with them in PSP. Not this time though. All of this is completely my own. And let me tell you, it's not easy taking a picture of yourself. Getting the right zoom and angle by guessing is a tough act. The picture happened to turn out good around the fourth try so I kept it.

One last thing I can think of...The background is sweet! Sure it's just a repeating checkerboard pattern like Shuin's sleeve but hey, it's the little details that make a layout! Kinda adds to the madness effect too...
