About:
Aww! I love this layout!! The colors really just stand out. Mmmm, I just love the pink and lime green complimentary color scheme.

In case you were wondering, the image at the top is, indeed, a picture of myself. I drew it using an online oekaki board program. My sister was even kind enough to let me use her tablet *glomps her*. For those unfamiliar with oekaki boards, they're applets that some people have on their site that allow users to draw pictures and upload them to a gallery so other users can see them and comment on them. Oekaki is Japanese for drawing, and most people who draw on them employ a very anime-ish style. Hehe, I just love the sketchy, unclean technique found in oekaki galleries. It's a style not found anywhere else and I wanted to bring it into my collective. Right now I'm on a I'm-only-going-to-use-original-artwork-from-now-on kick. Since I'm studying to be a designer, it's important that I use original pictures in my layouts to show off just how neat and unique a person I am!

The circles are reminiscent of my previous Final Fantasy XII version, and the hearts are...well...just something I love! No, I don't really have pink hair. I dye it red (and sometimes orange) and my eyes are naturally blue. Why use pink and green then? I like pink...a lot, lol. Red and green just happen to be compliments. So using pink and lime green together makes a complimentary color scheme. If I used red and blue in there too, especially if I changed my eye color to blue, it would throw off everything. So in order to keep the colors working together I gave myself green eyes :P

I like the fact that the content area is very wide, giving me plenty room to write long entries. Since that area is now doubling as my blog, extra room is a nice commodity :) Really, there's not much that I don't like about this version. I'll probably keep it around for a long time XD
