Pink used to be my least favorite color. For some reason, I don't mind it anymore, this layout being proof. It's Yuna from Final Fantasy X. When I first started working on this, I wasn't thinking about using a monochromatic color scheme. I was going to use the original colors which had a blue tint overall. But when I started experimenting with different layers and effects, I just liked how this one looked! The quote at the bottom I took from the ending of the game, and I liked it so much that I decided to title the blog itself after it ^^

Gray and pink go so well together. I really like this version, and I kept the area where each entry is displayed wide so that it could accommodate more text. I was tired of the small box I had when using the Eternal Harmony version.

The swirly brushes I used in the corner look nice and well placed. I didn't go overboard on the brushes this time. To fade the right side of the image and blend it with the background, I used a different brush. It also gave the appearance of the edges blowing away.

My favorite aspect of this layout would have to be the calm look to it. I like the tranquil feeling it represents. There's nothing I would change about it :D
